The Nature Reserve and SSS provides many different public footpaths and country walks leading to bird watching hides, nearby villages/pubs or simply circular walks with stunning views.

Local pub providing excellent seasonal cuisine and small shop attached to local garage are a few minutes walk away and there is a choice of Michelin Star restraurants within 30 minutes drive including: Le Champignon Sauvageor Casamia in Westbury on Trym, 5 North Street in Winchcombe and Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter. Alternatively, the local pub, The Swan, invites you to sample its wares and will give you a very warm and comfortable welcome
